Contact a home health care agency. They would be the ones to determine if your mom needs a caregiver and, if they're willing, can pay you for doing what you were doing anyway. They know, if they're insightful, that a family member knows the patient and knows the needs of the patient and is able to satisfy those needs. It may not be full-time pay, but it's worth a shot. If you don't like the first agency, go to another one. They're all over the place. With the agency, your mom would also be assigned a social worker who can help her get disability if she's qualified as well as other services he/she can provide. A physical therapist can also be assigned to your mom if she needs it. Medicade can pay for the home health care.
You're a good person for taking care of your mom, but you need some relief too. Maybe you and another caregiver can split shifts. Good luck to you. And God bless you.
